3 Day Refresh Round 3!
I love doing this vegan cleanse! It makes me feel so good and I love to lose that bloat! After Landon's 3rd birthday party, Disneyland, and then Christmas, I am feeling the holiday bloat! Depending on the day, the scale is up about 4 lbs so I can't wait to get rid of it!
The day on the refresh/cleanse looks like this:
*Chug 10 oz of water when wake up
*Shakeology mixed with water, ice and a fruit
*Fiber Sweep drink
*A lunch of vanilla refresh shake with fruit, a veggie and a healthy fat
*Veggie snack with a healthy fat
*Dinner of vanilla refresh shake and a veggie based "dinner." I use that word dinner loosely as it's not a huge meal or anything. There are recipes to choose from and all of them I made were yummy!
Started the day feeling kind of sluggish but knew I would feel better if I pushed play. I slammed 8 oz of cold water. Then did Pilates Fix and was starving after!! Made my vegan chocolate shakeolgy (8 oz of water, ice, and 1/2 banana blended) Gosh, I love this shake! It literally gives me life!! I headed into work and had over 300 emails I had to check (ugh 10 day vacation=tons of emails) and I started to get a headache, not sure if it was email induced or cleanse induced. Slammed my fiber sweep, as long as I drink it fast, I don't actually hate it! About an hour later I had my lunch shake (vanilla refresh with frozen mixed berries) and some steamed asparagus. I love asparagus!! I can already feel the sugar seeping out of my pores and can't wait to feel better. My headache is A KILLER. I finally caved and took some Tylenol. Starting to feel hungry and cranky. I ran to Starbucks and got a large green tea with no sweetener and ordered a banana, I technically wasn't supposed to have this but I had such a headache and was starving and figured this was better than starving to death or eating my hand LOL. Once I got home and ate dinner, I felt a little better except I was flooded with emotions after being away from the kids. I had been with them for 10 days straight and going back to work was HARD. Most days I love being a working mommy but some days just SUCK.
Slept so hard and headache is gone! YAY! Did a light T25 workout and had my shakeology. Have so much more energy than yesterday! And am already down 1.5 lbs! Felt great all day and followed the plan to a T. We even ended up going out to dinner and all I ordered was some lettuce with veggies, no dressing, nothing! So it is possible to stay on track and go out to eat, although, I don't reccomend it! Those chips and salsa were brutal to stare at and not eat!
Slept super hard and woke up with a tinge of a headache. Decided I wasn't going to work out so had my water, a black coffee and my shakeology. Headed into work and drank my green tea, it is only 10am and I am hungry for lunch. Think I'll give it until 11am and then make it :)
Once I ate my lunch, I felt great and continued to have a good day staying on track. Once we got the kids down for bed, I made my vanilla shake with cinnamon and it is seriously so good, like such a treat! It seroiusly tastes like a cinnamon dolce frap at Starbucks!
Results of cleanse:
Down 3.7 lbs and feeling so much less FLUFF!
And most importantly broke my sugar addiction from the holidays and craving greens and my super food shakes!
